Head Injuries
This episode leaves no doubt that parts of the documentary were staged. While exploring the scene of the woman with the head wound, I examine the improbable (suspicious movements and unsafe protocols) and point out the impossible (disappearing walls and people).

“First child to Die”
The journalists that created this documentary claim that they were at the hospital to watch the first child to die in Mariupol as a result of the Russian invasion. However, there is likely no truth to this claim.

The Boy With No Legs
In another dramatic scene of the documentary, the audience is informed that a boy who comes to the hospital had his legs blown off. However, this narrative is directly contradicted by the documentary’s own camera footage.

When the documentary crew miraculously stumbled upon a maternity ward which was freshly bombed, it became a golden photo opportunity. But what are the odds that this event actually occurred?

Escape From Mariupol
In the final minutes of the documentary, our 3 journalists bravely flee from behind enemy lines to escape the city. However, there are 4 crew members spotted in the documentary, and only two seats for them in the getaway car.
